It was in very poor taste imho. But it doesn’t mean it wasn’t meant to be funny

She forgot to say that they're very skilled escapists.

This is where responsible ownership comes into play. Keeping the dog safe but also other animals around it safe. Training and knowing your own dog goes a long way to ensure the safety of other small animals. And they are not safe around cats. They will tolerate them in the house, even cuddle up with them. But outside if the cat runs, its toast. Sighthounds cannot stop themselves from chasing a fleeing animal.

Amazing looking dogs, graceful, athletic and just majestic. I love these hounds.

Good luck training out prey drive. You can work very hard on recall and get good results but when they are off they are off. This is where responsible ownership comes into play. Watching them run is amazing. Like a cheetah, due to their double articulated hips.Amazing looking dogs, graceful, athletic and just majestic. I love these hounds.

I have no misconceptions of that, I would only let it off in a private dog field with no other animals.Good luck training out prey drive. You can work very hard on recall and get good results but when they are off they are off.

I act exactly the same when I see a cat! I just can't help myself...This is where responsible ownership comes into play. Keeping the dog safe but also other animals around it safe. Training and knowing your own dog goes a long way to ensure the safety of other small animals.
