What have you been doing today?

Paid two fines...One for congestion charge in Oxford and one for the Humber bridge tolls. All the same trip home from Oxford. I left it with Lena to pay and she left it with me, we both forgot about it. OMG.

Held the queue up at the fag/scratchcard counter at Sainsbury’s as it’s also the customer services section. Bought some gluten free bake at home rolls on Friday, well in date, but when I opened them and went to put them in the oven yesterday, they were mouldy! The 12 year old in customer services asked for my receipt and I told him I didn’t have it (who keeps their weekly shop receipts) . That threw him so he had to put out a call for the manager. When she eventually came, I told her the same story and said that I used my Nectar card as I used the scan and go thingy. She was able to look up my shopping for Friday, confirmed that I had bought them and refunded me the £2.40 for the rolls. I felt a right minge asking for my money back but like all gluten free produce, they are bloody expensive compared to normal produce. At least she had the grace to apologise for the 'experience' I had suffered.

* They weren’t as mouldy as this yesterday - they had got a fair bit worse overnight.

The car got scraped in Mrs S's work car park. While in to get fixed, we had a courtesy car. On the way home on Friday, the guy in front of Mrs S reversed to let someone out of a side road and bumped into her.

He knew he'd done it, as he looked in the mirror, but then he just drove off...

Mrs S reported it to the police as a fail to stop.
Today, they emailed to say that as there was minimal damage and no injuries, they were not going to take further action against the driver and were closing the case.

What??
