I like him, good old sort.
Didn't much like him on Top Gear but I think he’s good in his farm programme and Millionaire apart from the other week when he cost a contestant £7k when he gave her the wrong answer about moleskin!
I have to disagree a bit, the specials were very good.
He does a lot for others, which most famous people don’t.

I much prefer James May, he is very much like me. Recently I have been watching a lot of his videos on YouTube, filmed in his "Bug Out Bunker Kitchen".
Of course he does. TV entertainers lives are motivated, governed, steered and decided about what people think about them. He loses his appeal - he loses his revenue.
I don't think he cares.

Clarkson (who I found entertaining on TG, especially the specials) is selling a product : his opinions.
He ensures those meet with enough consumers to make it worth his while.
If they don't, he'll change them then until they do.

He is also very anti-Brexit.
