What have you been doing today?

After weeks of not responding to my purchaser, my solicitor and my estate agent, the buyers lazy, useless solicitor now wants to exchange and complete on the sale of my mums house next Friday! We're away in Porto next Friday until Monday so I told them no. Waiting for them to get back with other dates. They’ve known all along the dates I said no to, even the estate agent is annoyed with them. I’ve still got a house full of her furniture to get rid of and if the buyer doesn’t want it (free and it’s all modern stuff, no crap) I’ve got to give it away elsewhere or junk it.

Helping a friend with an electrical issue

They had a faulty psu go bang on them and trip an mcb

They then proceeded to make a big mystery out of the issue thinking half the electrics were faulty

It’s been just over a year since we lost our Susie and we are now hoping to get another one. Our friend bred her and she took one of her other dogs to be mated a few months ago and had it been successful, we would have been expecting a new pup at the end of July. It didn’t take though so she will be taking another one to be mated in the very near future.
The deed has been done. Different dam, different sire. If this one takes they should be born end of August so we’d get ours in October time. Fingers crossed. Again!

Been to an animal sanctuary today as we are looking out for the saddest dog to adopt, we are favouring an ex racing greyhound or a whippet as our best choice, however if we find a dog that has had an awful time then we don't care what breed iti is, we want to give any dog down on its a luck a loving home and let it live its best life. I was in pieces today in the kennels as I could have adopted any one of the ones that I met. One dog made me cry more than the others, a bedlington whippet which has been neglected and abused. I was crying my eyes out cuddling it and I think this is the one. How anyone could hurt an animal is beyond my understanding, anyone know anything about a bedlington whippet?

Looking at a washing machine. It’s too busy in the shop though. I’ll try again first thing.

I’m kicking about until 3pm- Come on Lewis

Indoors now but I was up at 4.00 this morning taking some unwanted and unused household items and tools to a boot sale. Got rid of about two thirds of it and came away with a £323.50 profit. Our friends made £526 but that was mostly designer clothes, shoes and handbags. Not bad for stuff that would have gone to the tip had we not sold it. Still have about a third of ours to dispose of though. Might offer it out for free on the local Facebook group or take it to a charity shop. Right now I’m knackered so I’m going to have a little snooze before the British Grand Prix. Doubt if I’ll be able to stay awake for the football tomorrow morning though.

Just been to a farmers market as a mate of mine rang me to say there is a lot of animal welfare stalls there and got Lena and myself to come down and take a look. We ended up taking some greyhounds out on a group walk which was great. We stayed with the greyhounds for quite some time and took them out again on a second and third walk. Lena fell in love with one that wouldn't leave her alone, we went to some other animal welfare stalls where we just donated money but we did buy some dog treats and took them to the greyhounds. It upset us and brought all of our memories back of our dogs but we both loved it.

Lena fell in love with one that wouldn't leave her alone,
That’s how we ended up with our Susie. We couldn’t make our mind up which pup to choose so our friend said just sit there having a cup of tea and one will choose you. Eventually our Susie broke away from the litter and came over to us. We will be doing the same with our next pup. Bugger, I’ve just set myself off crying again!
