RAC Warranty

He would probably be paying more just on extending the warranty than maintenance on his present van over the next 5 years
Keeping the van and selling the Honda will make me money. I accept that the van will need maintenance

Id rather pay 30 grand + on something thst will earn me money than 30+ on something that will just depreciate.

Its still a good van with expensive racking.

My mate having my van is in the equation. He keeps my regular customers happy and away from other plumbers.
I dont want big heavy hard work anymore.
Its a back scratching system, that makes me more money than the school pays me.

Id much prefer a nice looking decent multi purpose can than a smart car.
Its like The Aussies who like their Utes.

My daughter is 17 next year. Ill buy a family car next year that suits her. She can then run Mrs Bod and my other daughter around.

Something like a Suzuki Jimney Auto

Thanks for the interest Dan but I generally think this is the best thing to cover every aspect of my life.

Its not perfect just the best egg.
Good luck with the Jimney, they are difficult to get hold of and hold their price like glue

@pete01 is the master of imigary. I don't know how he does it either but I suppose he has to be good at something,.

Bodd ,your present van is still earning you money when you use it for work, no different to a new van.
A new van will depreciate same as a car
No no. The new van won’t depreciate, it will earn him much more money that the old one ever did and the family will love going out in a van, complete with a full compliment of plumbers tools and spares and he could probably do some jobs on the way out or on the way back from family days out. Win win.
