What have you been doing today?

After our dog walk, we went back to our friends for a cuppa and to see the pups. It’s funny how they all synchronise whatever they do. Soon as one popped its head outside their sleeping quarters, they all came out.

There then followed 30 minutes of intense eating, playing, pooing and wee wee's before they all went into a basket and dropped off within seconds of each other.

Went to the good wood revival

Cup coffee £4.25
Hot dog £14
Took a flask and they can stuff there grub ( lol)

Than lost my kin car in the parking field !!! Took me 20 mins to find the kin thing ( lol)
 
Last night went to Proms in the park.

Chicken wrap and chips £12. I thought that's ok...... the fùçkers filled the wrap with chips

Watched a bit of football today and saw the Hammers pull back to a draw after being 2 down at Millwall. Mrs Mottie, our daughter and our DiL have gone off up West to the theatre to see 'Six' and I’m just the cabbie who runs them to the station and back. I thought I’d do a bit on the communal flower bed we adopted at our end of the road - a job I wished I hadn’t started! I’ve planted some more daffodils and snowdrops for the spring. The old lady in the end house has let her garden go a bit wild but to be fair, she is housebound and her daughter has had to move back home to care for her but then again she has a gardener come in once a week - feck knows what he does. Her wisteria and ivy has got well out of hand and has gone mad, overspilling her fence and (a) putting the community bed in shade and (b) stopping any rain from reaching it - it’s as dry as dust so my plan is to trim it all back to the fence. What a job! I’ve filled up my wheelie bin already and I’ve only done two panels - I think there’s another 8 or 9 of them under there somewhere. I’m going to have to use the space left in my neighbours bins over the next week or two. The panels are not in the best condition either - when it’s done, I’ll ask her if she wants her panels replaced. If she buys them, I’ll get a few neighbours to help me fit and paint them. Right, a cuppa then over the allotment to collect some butternut squash and tomatoes for the DiL then it’s a curry for one later. Busy, busy, busy!

Best part of two more panels exposed today. Filled up another wheelie bin. Fence is really rough - I think the ivy/wisteria growth was holding it together! At least I’ve uncovered the fig tree.

Two of our regular cocker owners were on holiday today so all of their dogs were in the one crate. They were certainly happy to get out for their walk this morning.

More clearing of the growth on the communal flowerbed today. Gradually getting there.

I’ve maxed out all my neighbours green bins and they won’t be emptied until Thursday so in the Fiesta it went. Did two full loads to the tip today. It’s a good job I’m not precious about it.
