Armoured cable termination

How far advanced is the construction of this building?

A WC implies digging trenches for water supply and drainage, both coming up through the floor into the interior of the building.

Why is it too late for someone to have the idea of the electricity supply following the same route?

The sewer and water pipes are in. As you say, they are coming through under the building. The armoured cable is here too.
I could still pull it back and terminate into a box at the back but I would then need to take a separate cable from here to the consumer unit, as it’s another 4m from here.

Possibly me, I suggested glanding off behind the consumer unit, depends how one interprets the regs and whether the actual gland needs to be accesiible.
@333rocky333 you clearly know a thing or two about electrics and regs! Would you deem it acceptable to put the gland behind the consumer unit (inside the timber wall)?
Or have I misunderstood your suggestion?

Safe zones don't apply to earthed armoured swa,
Indeed, or Earthed metallic conduit/trunking etc. Personally I would still endeavour to keep these within what would otherwise be prescribed zones where possible, although obviously it may well be the impracticality of achieving this which has lead to opting for one of these solutions.

A somewhat common one in a simple domestic installation may be an outside luminaire where the cable needs to be tracked down the wall on the inside outside of a prescribed zone, and I would generally do this with Earthed metallic conduit.

But it doesn't come up into the building? It emerges from the ground outside?
The armoured cable is under the base of the building (the building is slightly raised off the ground). I’ve only got as far as building the base. Walls are next.

So why not bring it up inside the building?
That’s the advice I am after. I had proposed that I bring it up through the timber wall and gland in a box that sits behind the CU but apparently that’s not allowed.
I can gland at the back of the building but would then presumably need to take a T&E internally to where the CU will be situated.

I am after some advice on which option I should use please.

3 options

1, clip inside gland into bottom hide the swa cable in 4 x 2 trunking or box in

2 , clip outside and go back entry.

3, Gland inside the wall, dont tell anyone I said that.

If the armour is properly earthed at the source end, and at the CU end it finishes inside a building, does it need glanding there?

I appreciate the shortcoming of my set-up and the usefulness of a CU in the garden room but as I said, at the very least, it will allow me to isolate circuits for maintenance, etc. Should this be using RCBO's or MCB's in your view?
