Hi Folks
I have an access control system on my workshops providing all the usual functions. Intruder system i have is basic to useless. Now looking to put in an new system and hoping to link the two together.
I've looked at the Gardtec490 panel. Any views on this and how might be the best way to go about it?

Any advice welcome.

Hi,

Are you just looking to link them together so that unlocking a door unsets the alarm? If so, any alarm panel with a keyswitch input/zone type will work (the 490 does) but it might not work depending on the quality of your access system and the number of doors etc.

Some additional info required!

What Access Control system do you have?
How are you thinking of linking the two systems together?

It's an ActWin system. I was looking at setting the alarm from 4 doors.
One of them a general area, the other three just arming a single area each.

Not a problem. What readers do you currently have as you may need to swap some of them.
