if you ever drain the radiator and refill it, how will you get the air out, the bleed will be at the bottom, i don`t think it would work.

it's been done.

how can you tell people what works and what don't when your stuggling on your own questions ?

Sorry,i entered my reply before seeing yours, i was only offering an opinion, there`s no need to get upset. How do you bleed the towel rail? Im asking to learn not to be smart. Thanks.

it has been done but can cause problems with air in the above pipework.
but i have seen them installed in bathrooms with pipework from loft down into bathroom.
but then their has been two bleed valves on the pipework above.
if you can't gain access above it can cause a problem.

thats my scenario mate...ive got pipework coming from the loft above the bathroom...i can easily gain access to the loft space...so shall i install two bleed walves on the bottom of the rad instaed of just one ?...cheers

you can ask not a problem.
are you just interested, a plumber, or diyer etc

nice to know who your talking to. ;)

I`m a trainee plumber, my brother is a gas fitter & i sometimes go out on jobs with him, but he doesn`t have time to answer all my questions or he takes the mick, that`s why i`m here. Thanks.

I`m also slow at typing & editing.

ok not a problem.
but you do get people ask pointless questions and are about as thick as a 4 x 2 and you get them in the day let alone at night. and i can't be arsed with them. ;)

Well, I`m not the sharpest tool in the box but I`m keen & getting on quite well, we may have got off on the wrong foot but be prepared for lots of questions in the future, Thanks
