Hi there,

Just wanted to know, can you use a Ryobi 3-hour charge battery in a Ryobi 1 hour charger?

Also, does anyone out there know of a really cheap place for replacement Metabo & Ryobi batteries???

Thanks once again,

Gary

all depends on the battery but a fair chance you will knacker the battery as your trying to charge it 3 times quicker than designed

whats the ryobi charger number and the battery number

just got the hitachi set with 18v li-ion batteries. all for £200 from the us.

I rate it as medium to heavy trade!

The new 2.4 Ah lithium batteries work with ALL Ryobi one +18 volt tools. They are 20% lighter than the current

No way!!!!!

Ryobi for Prime Minister!! :D :D :D :D

Any sightings of the 2.4 Ah lithium stuff in the UK yet? I've just had a google but can't seem to find anything.

I've got my eye on the 18v Ryobi One + 2 Piece Kit Combi Drill & Angle Drill kit at around £138 but if the lithium version isn't much more it could be worth a look over the standard 1.7Ah Batteries

see it on e bay occasionaly

although the batteries and tools are fully interchangeable and the new charger is fully versatile the old charger cannot charge the new batteries

http://www.ryobitools.com/

watch the front page for a few seconds to see the new stuff :D :D :D
