write all your christmas cards in pencil so they can be recycled next year and ask all your friends to do the same u will also be saving on land fill qand inports

Brilliant Idea Billyo, and I am all for it.
But I think Charities may suffer unless all your friends agreed with the idea and gave say 50% of what they would have spent on cards to a charity of their choice and this alone would benefit the charities and avoid the accusations of 'Tight B**S***D' being thrown around.

But non of your suggestions helps the Charity bit which some Christmas card sales contriblute to.
I know - just everyone put a tenner to the Charity/Charities of their Choice and recycle as billyo suggests - Problem Solved
