adding consumer unit

so anyway, getting back to the subject, is that a yes or no then?
thnx for bearing with me

In the absence of seeing the set up

and the fact you have to ask such questions the answer is NO

Feel free, as a qualified electrician who is charging members of the public for his services, to at any time stop asking basic questions about how to do your job on a DIY advice forum.

im sorry but i have read at least 5 posts from
qualified electrians who argue the toss about
what is wrong with their opinions about electrical work!

Seems that whatever one spark thinks is a wonderful
job , there is another one who disagrees.
then another and another!

i think that you are going to accept the fact that electricians
do things differently and they will always think that they
are right!!

i on the other hand am always willing to learn
and i really object to some people here who are
hollier than tho

some people seem to spend there entire life on here
judging by the number of posts

and i expect half of their posts are berating others
for daring to seek advice

quite a few chips on shoulders too!

before part p , i dont think i ever saw a spark do
any proper testing or certification on any of my jobs

and my god!! how many jobs have i been on lately that
a proper electrician has bodged?

its ok though. im thick skinned and dont take it to heart!!

and how do you konw that im a ***** electrician?
you ever seen any of my finished work?
i believe that the learning never ends and
whether im asking my supervisor or getting
advice from the DNO or the NICEIC or another sparks
or people on here, how can you justify slating me?

I NEVER do any work without making sure that
i have good advice

i suppose all you smug sparks woke up one morning and knew it all!!

yes because that was what some other
idiot had done!!

probably was a kitchen fitter or something!!

So why did you say:
hi all,
i have an old wylex fuse board under my stairs
and wish to add a new board to the circuit just for the
use or the kitchen/ bathroom extension. the new board
will be in the hall.
