I have a breeze block wall around my garden about 1m height. I want to fix 0.91m lap panels to the top of the wall to increase the height. What's the best way to go about it? The tradesman I spoke to suggested fixing fence posts directly to the wall and attaching the panels to this. Will this be sufficient or should the fence posts be cemented into the ground to give added support.

(yes its sad i have the highest post count on DIYnot) But what is your opinion regarding the fence posts?
I am also wondering about the wall foundations, may be "in the way" of any holes to be dug for said fence posts
