well i can see you have discconected the line conductors but are the neutrals
in the same terminal

The 230V feed is connected to the 12V terminals of the transformer

The guy said initially it had only just started blowing. Then, when I confronted him with irrefutable evidence that it had never worked since that tranny went in, he admitted it hadn't worked since the bathroom fitter had done it.

There's a load more round the house that guy has done...
