There is a page where you can scroll down and see each version of the alarm panels they make. Each one has a different firmware version, some with 5, some with different versions of 4, and then mine that shows the first version of 4.
I did try flashing different versions and the 5 but got the...
Evening all
After realising that I’m on version 3 of the firmware on my 48-W alarm I’ve decided to update it so that I can get texecom connect.
I’ve purchased a usb com and a flasher and have successfully backed up the panel on wintex.
I came to flash the panel with the new software and...
We currently have a Honeywell dialler on our texecom premier elite alarm. After a couple of fault issues over the past few days causing alarms and the dialler to ring out I have realised that I am no longer able to cancel the dialler from my iPhone. The dialler rings round the numbers programmed...
We have CCTV for our own peace of mind in the main. If there is a noise in the night it’s a quick check. Anything else is a bonus. I wouldn’t expect it to catch anyone doing anything now a days as most people are aware of it and will wear appropriate disguises.
Saying that it would catch the...
We had the same issue with the cat and the stairs. It was solved by putting some masking tape on the inside of the detector screen at the top.
It still detects down the hallway however it now doesn’t cover the stairs so the cat doesn’t set it off.
Was a cheap workaround for us, might be...
It’s not valuing my house for less than £100. It’s for trying to be cost clever as best as possible. Obviously if people had lots of money then they would purchase something that in relation to the function is expensive. £100 isn’t that much money in the grand scheme of things but if something...
Evening all
I was thinking the other evening that should the unfortunate event of a house fire happen and no one is at home, we are reliant on the neighbours being in and hearing the smoke alarms to ring the fire brigade.
I began researching on how to have an alert through to your phone...
Thanks for the responses.
It’s been very odd. I’ve downloaded the footage onto a memory stick for the police and when viewed on the computer via the stick there is no lag or jump...
Think I may have a little play with the settings after the above post. Thanks
Good evening.
I have a hikvision nvr with five ip dome cameras that are 4mp.
After a burglary down the road I was asked by the police to have a look at my cctv to see if anything had been caught. When I have reviewed the footage I have found that there is quite a bit of video jump especially...
Good afternoon
We have two wireless bells on the house, one at the front and one at the back. They have been up almost a year now and have the comfort lights flashing.
Today the rear bell has been going off randomly and then will stop. I did a bell test from the panel which set it off however...
Good evening
I have a Honeywell Alarm dialer attached to my burglar alarm.
When it goes off I get a call and to cancel it ringing more persons you have to hold the star key for at least one second then repeat after a tone.
Problem I have found lately is that the iPhone will not hold star...
Good morning
I have been looking for a mid range cctv kit with five cameras for home. I have read that hikvision are some of the best however they are a little pricey. I have also looked at Swann cameras however there is a lot of mixed advice with a lot of negativity.
I have come across...
