Hi Guys, Im connecting up a Klik light, and on the plate theres 4 connections, an earth, neutral, loop and a blank one? Im just wondering wether the sw would go into the loop or the blank terminal? Anyone familiar with connecting these up? Thanks

depends whether or not they want new sockets in old places? Id normally just wire everything back and do the db at the end, but if there wanting sockets in same places etc its more difficult. Usually you struggle wiring new circuits into old boards because those old bakerlite wylexs are...

Id definitely go for the 7.2, and I like the Euro One panels, all we really fit lately since the keypads give so much control over the system.

make sure your cables are all tight, assuming you have a DVR or something of the like to record the footage on. Make sure the cables are well connected to Baluns or the BNCs are screwed on tightly. Id try that before buying a new camera :)

Hi Adam :) Basically the 3 light switches are just a normal lighting circuit controlling one light, with an intermediate in the middle. The landlords over ride needs to turn the light on permanently rendering the 3 lightswitches useless if you like since the landlords has put the light on...

you need to put brown sleeving/tape on the black to show its a live though. and if its a metal face plate dimmer, you need to connect the earth from the face plate to the back box too.

I usually fit them above the light switch, inline with the top of the door casing since the switch is normally the place to pick the power up from. When you start putting switches in bathrooms youll need to check the zones for the location.

you can get those locking spurs you usually use on a fire alarm panel to isolate it, Would require aditional wiring though, which could be a problem! you could take the fuse out of the plug lol, or just pull the aerial out?
