Proper rough **** needed

Somebody needed who wrecks anything from solid stainless steel tools to vans and jackhammers.
It's not for a bad payer, but for advice on a phone. I found the Samsung b2100 aka the Solid Extreme to be reviewed as just what I need, but very bad experience with Samsung stops me from getting one.

What other phones are there that are almost indistructable and simple?
All I want is a phone that you can drop from the scaffold and run trough the washing machine without problems. Apart from a camera, I don't want any features as I do not use them. I've had phones with features, which is why I know I won't use them.

Many thanks for suggestions based on real life experience (I don't care about promotional vids on youtube or wonderful claims from the manufacturer)

Haven't tried anything at all, that's why I am looking for reports from people that have rugged phones. I've had disposables for the past decade, but want something with a camera now.

I have the samsung and its lasted 2 years, the jcb was good until the battery died, replaced under warranty then it wouldn't charge all this after 8 months.

I am a landscaper so constant stream of wet grit sand cement dirt and grime over it. The samsung has lastest the longest by a stretch of any handset i've had.
