I’m always on my guard when someone says to me "'ere, this’ll make you laugh". It like they are saying ‘I find it funny, so you should too'. It’s only okay when I say it to somebody else. :rolleyes:

Well, people have always had annoying speech patterns, you know.

Now remember, it's just a filler.
 
I don't like it. Very rarely use it....... I doubt my Dad has ever used it.
