Hi all,

Wondering if I can get a bit of help with some 2 way switches I"ve fitted.
My house has the light switches fed, rather then a junction box for loop in loop out connections.
I have 2 gang 2 way switches and on the 2 way gangs I'm getting a live neutral.
I have connected them as per
My neutrals all go into wago's.
The 1 way switching I have is working as it should.
The only difference I have to the video above is I have a short bit of cable connecting the feed in permanent live to the feed out permanent live.

The neutral is also live at the pendant when the switch is operated if this help to identify this problem.

Can anyone help?

Pictures or a video of YOUR wiring would be more than helpful here in order to help you.

And just for clarification I'll note what I've put where...
The first gang on the left is a 2 way so I have,
COM - black (3 core cable)
L1 - brown (3 core) and brown (feed), brown (jumper)
L2 - grey (3 core) and brown (light fitting)
2 neutrals from the feed and light fitting in wago

Second gang is a 1 way switch so,
COM - brown (feed), brown (smoke detector), brown (jumper)
L1 - brown (light fitting)
L2 - empty
3 neutrals in wago

The second gang works fine and operates the lights and smoke detector

Do you need to operate one or two circuit breakers (or fuses) to isolate everything at this switch?

If the neutral is becoming live, it's possible all the neutrals need to be joined together (if it's all on one circuit).

In fact, if it's one circuit, not only would I expect all the neutrals to be joined, but I would expect the permanent live feeds between both individual switches to be linked as well.

But NOT if this is two separate circuits.

As I understand it there is one feed in (to SW2) which jumpers over to (SW1), so I would think that there is only one neutral feed in. SW1 cables go to second switch and the light, therefore the neutral from the light needs connecting to the feed in neutral.

Yep that's it then.

You need to join ALL the neutrals together.

You need a 5 way Wago, or a traditional screw down 15amp connector block.

remembering that, especially in lighting circuits "Blue" does not necessarily mean "Neutral"

Thank you all!!!
I replaced the 2 3 way WAGO's for a 5 way one and everything is working correctly now. Lesson learnt for the future.
Once again, thank you to all, much appreciated.
