Its talked about every year but always just the day before so too late to change legislation. I heard a stat that over 80% of people want to stop the clocks going back in the winter. Its about time it ended.
What's the negatives compared to the positives - apparently its estimated that not putting them back would reduce road casualties.
Imagine the climate changing CO2 it would save as people will not need to put the lights on so soon. When it gets dark it also gets cold - so not putting them back will mean even more CO2 saved as people will not need to put the heating on an hour ago.
An extra hour of outside culture = increased GDP
So what's not to like.
