Penetrating damp

I own a 1930s semi which i moved in to last year. I noticed damp on the rear external walls in the upstairs and down stairs rooms last winter.

Brick work/ mortar wasnt great so I had the rear elevation pointed with lime mortar and still damp. I am yet to remove the plaster could this be the problem? Or do you think the position of these two boiler pipes have anything yo do with it.
I dont want to remove plaster and replaster before i am sure i found the problem.
Any advice/ suggestions appreciated. Thank you

Are the damp patches in a specific position? How do they manifest - i.e. got any piccies?

Damp or mould? Or both?

I will send pictures of the inside shortly.

No mould or very minimal it is damp patches which may be difficult to see on pictures but I will use a damp metre to illustrate.

On the second picture I think it looks like the floor level is too high. The damp is in both the back bedroom upstairs and the dining room.

Could this be the issue?

Looks like rain could enter vents from splash back . Ground level looks high .

Additional downstairs. It was coming up high last year but it is only the beginning of winter and I had the house repointed with lime, so maybe that is making a difference
