Greedy grasping Labour MP on the run.

Mottie hasnt read the actual story...........what a surprise
She tried it on, got caught out, did a runner back to the U.K. and has been found guilty. Let’s see if she goes back to clear her name. MP's lose their seat if receiving a sentence of 12 months or more in the U.K.. She got 2 years. No wonder Kiers backing her - he's needing every seat he can get.

You have read all about this I assume?

Its a terrible look, but we're getting used to it with this labour party. She surely cant stay in her seat

The whole process from charging to trial to conviction had the hallmarks of justice Trumpf style

With all respect, Mottie, I'm sure we can find some greedy grasping Tories too.

Like Mone, who was ordered to pay back megabucks to the Govt, but, surprise, her company went t'ts up very shortly afterwards.

It’s as true as any of Notch's threads. Go and challenge him if you’re bored and you’ve got no MOT's to do today.
I'm sure you read this...

"The process fails to pass any reasonable test of judicial fairness - a point that has been made forcefully by both local and international legal experts," the party said.

Hasina also accused Bangladesh's judiciary of being controlled by an "unelected government run by the Awami League's political opponents", namely the interim government headed up by Dr Muhammad Yunus.

Prior to Siddiq's resignation from the British government, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer's independent ethics adviser Sir Laurie Magnus said he had not found "evidence of improprieties" following an investigation.

However, he said it was "regrettable" Siddiq had not been more alert to the "potential reputational risks" of her ties to Hasina.
