Old TV 42" new TV 55" both cheap Black Friday deals, new one Sharp Aquos, three HDMI leads, satellite lead, terrestrial aerial lead, and connects to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It says mini AV,
I assume I need some special cable? I have a composite video/audio cable to SCART, but not what looks like a jack plug to composite video/audio cable, not 100% sure what I will need? I have a DVD/CD player with surround sound, with SCART I am not sure, if worth getting it connected?
I also have a Blu-ray/DVD player, which uses HDMI and failed to get it to connect. Not a clue why? The Sky box connects OK, but the volume button on the Sky remote does not work. And switching on Sky box does not auto start TV.
It has Freely
and not sure if watching terrestrial or Wi-Fi TV, up to now Freeserve from Moel-y-Parc has been rubbish, with very few programs, we now seem to have more than old TV, so may be this Freely?
The satellite seems reasonable with 550 channels, but this includes multi-BBC1 etc. Cost a fortune once the new Ikea units, and wall bracket is included, but at moment have the boxes, but these have not connected to TV except for the Sky box, and we have no surround sound. So it is a question of am I doing something wrong, or do I need new boxes?
