kemi badenoch "sacks" Robert jenrick after reading draft resignation letter

How many people have defected to Labour? a rough estimate will do.
Quite a few toreys at the last general election, they thought the economy would be magicked back into good health if they deigned to back Kieth.

Recently....
  • Natalie Elphicke (May 2024): The former MP for Dover defected directly from the Conservatives to Labour, stating the Tories had become a "byword for incompetence and division." She chose to stand down at the July 2024 general election.
  • Dan Poulter (April 2024): The MP for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich defected to Labour, primarily citing the state of the NHS.
  • Christian Wakeford (January 2022): The MP for Bury South defected in protest against the "partygate" scandal and the leadership of Boris Johnson.
  • Mark Logan (May 2024): Although he did not join the Labour benches in the Commons before the 2024 election, he publicly quit the Conservative party to support Labour, stating the country needed a change.

Jenrick is ambitious, and full of himself.

I can't see him being happy to not attempt a leadership challenge.

Him leaving fromage hanging yesterday could have been a ruse, a signal of who is pulling the strings.

On the bright side; he did give me a larf in his press con. by using the words "in good conscience" in a sentence.

All the weasels in one pot.

I am not a fan of all of these tories joining reform, they should stick to their sinking ship. Politicians are so bloody false. They don't care about the country, it's all about them.

Yeah, can't have Tories joining Reform, can we? Let's just ignore that Reform was setup by Tories.

Nigel Farage
Conservative:
Member until 1992 (left over the Maastricht Treaty).

Catherine Blaiklock
Conservative:
Attempted to join in 2019 (application was rejected).

Richard Tice
Conservative:
A long-time donor and supporter of the party’s Eurosceptic wing.

Lee Anderson
Conservative:
Elected as a Conservative MP in 2019 before defecting to Reform in 2024.
