I’ve seen queues like that at 4am going on a ski trip. 2008 to Zel, that was a great holiday.Sorry, it was Malaga. The queues for us Brits were horrendous

Lots more booths for the EU bods.
As the Sky report has shown, busy (high capacity) airports are going to get a lot worse for us Brits.

Lol. How is this meant to cut out queues? All it will mean is that I will have plenty of time to get my phone ready whilst in the 80 minute queue. It won't side step the process.

I am pleased for these new rules, who cares if you have to wait an hour or so for the que, passport control is a good thing. It shows that security is better and as we are not in the EU anymore, why should we be able to just come and go as we please. I am in favour of this.

Never waited longer than 10 minutes in any European country border.
I was an hour in the queue at Heathrow last October because 4 planes landed one after the other.
Travelling with kids I couldn't go through the self check gates.
And has always existed.
The queueing issues have all arisen since Brexit, irrespective of previous passport checks and are set to get worse for Brits at busy high capacity airports.
