Here's how 6mm and 10mm lugs match up. The 6mm definitely doesn't fit, even the 10mm one looked tight. Can 6mm be eliminated from the enquiry? Thanks
Yes, but the 10mm, might be an Imperial size.

How might a 10mm item be imperial?Yes, but the 10mm, might be an Imperial size.
Why not 6mm for ovens? Thats the best stuff....easier to work with than 10mm anyway.Thanks. So long as it’s not 6mm I can at least think about electric ovens.
10mm is the supply into a small ‘sub’ CU that controls the kitchen/extension When the kitchen gets done I’m interested in having two double ovens and maybe an induction hob.Why not 6mm for ovens?

In which case it wouldn't be 10mm² size and not if it's dated 1999.How, might it not be a possibility? From memory - It could be 7/052 T&E

True that we didn't "hear" it, but we "saw", in post #1 ....I didn't hear a date of manufacture mentioned..
It looks to be printed with WESSEL BASEC 1999 but I can’t see a size.

Yep, but I don't use it for forum posts - do you?You never heard of text to speech?
Maybe "unfortunately", but are there actually (m)any domestic cookers >25A (or even >21A)?Unfortunately, not all brands offer 45A breakers.

That's my experience too. 4 milli has a 1.5 CPC, 6 has a 2.5 CPC, both solid, 10 has a 4 milli CPC and 16 has a 6 milli CPC, both stranded.If the earth is stranded I'd guess 10mm
