Yes, in the face of death or persecution it's permissible to deny one's faith, according to Islam. The Chrsitian God prefers that they die.

That applies equally to followers of all religions, including followers of Baal.
I don't know any followers of Baal that feel the need to deny their faith.

That's the saddest thing, @fillyboy - some are agents of Darkness, but many of these people are just not intellectually equipped to understand the impact of their own actions. They really just aren't bright enough to take in the bigger picture. Truth and reason barely matter to them as they parade the ignorance which they mistake for virtue. And many of them are consigning their own descendants into subjugation, authoritarianism and intolerance. A nation heaping its own funeral pyre indeed.

The Muslim brotherhood on here plainly hate Jews and Israel. They try their best to defend Hamas and their cowardly terrorist attack on Oct 7th 2023. They are all also extremely anti British and anti Western.
