Hi, my tenant went on holiday and messaged that the toilet was blocked.
On looking at it it seems like there are potato peelings in there, apart from human waste.

All I can think is to pull out any on the surface and possibly use a wet vac, maybe a toilet auger too?
Any ideas please?

Stick a mop in a bin liner and you have a large plunger.
That nearly always does the job.

Garden hose will bend and can he shoved down toilet as a plan B..

Potato Peelings should go round the bend and away without causing to much ado. Provided there's nothing else untoward lurking down there....

1. If you have an Assured Shorthold contract with the tenant, these usually state blockages are the tenant's problem.
2. Otherwise, as Wayners above.
