Definition of live from the 13th.

I used bits of them as resistors sometimes. IIRC 1KW measured about 62Ω and I made a pair of loudspeaker dummy loads consisting of 4 quartersarranged as 2 singles and a pair giving me the option of ~4, 5.5. 8, 16Ω. the first time I took it into work to test an amplifier my boss tried to reach for the mains plug when he saw them glowing red.Yes! When I was a green apprentice, my boss used to carry one on his van.
And those were 1FP to install!!!And one that you used to feed inside the silica tube!
Shame they made this blunder

Defining neutral as live after multiple decades.

Well I suppose there's the one we've all come across as green apprentices: the open neutral in a lighting circuit.
It's neutral, but it's live!

Have you missed your morning coffee? It may have been after multiple decades, but it was also multiple decades ago (4½ to be precise).
