First the good, 2nd baby emma born Friday!! now out numbered 4-1 including dog so plans for shed (sorry bas) well and truly underway.

Bad news, boiler kaput.. well sort of.
Potterton netaheat 10-16 Mark II F, Honeywell smartfit S-plan open vented system (previously working for over a year).
After investigation, it may just be dodgy connection but want to seek advice first. All appears to be working, as in controls to boiler but boiler doesn't fire up.
If you lift/jiggly the bottom of the boiler where the thermostat control is the fan kicks in then pilot then eventually main burner (think correct order but essentially it fires up!).

Any ideas on what to look for if I open the bottom section up, I know it could be anything if dodgy connection

unplug & check 11 pin relay

contacts may be worn\burnt

about 18 quid + vat to buy replacement or cheaper at rs components
