Ryobi 16G nail gun, can't remove magazine

This is a video on a very similar model.. I think mine just has one extra screw or bolt but I don't want to just start removing everything I can find in case I can't get it back together . I'll investigate more, just hoped someone might have done this exact thing and save me additional...

Ryobi 16G nail gun, can't remove magazine

It's apparently not an uncommon issue. It sounds like it's firing but it doesn't. No nail jam. I've seen several videos where they lubricate the slide/mechanism and it's a 5s job but you do need to remove the magazine; very easy but none are the same model exactly.

Ryobi 16G nail gun, can't remove magazine

I have the R18N16G Airstrike battery nail gun from Ryobi. There's a misfire issue and I already ruled out a jam. All the advice suggests to remove the magazine and lubricate but I cannot find an exact guide for this model, I've removed all the obvious bolts and the damn thing won't come off, it...

Getting a separate set of wheels/rims for winter tyres

we've already got the tyres... figured instead of our local garage swapping the tyres this time, they would fit the new rims and then put the winter tyres on - and then each spring/winter we just swap all 4 wheels (at a push I could myself though I don't really want to) @Mottie no idea. All...

Getting a separate set of wheels/rims for winter tyres

We've had winter tyres for a few years on our last two cars and always meant to get round to fitting them permanently on their own wheels, but ever did. It's that time of year again and I'm keen to get it done finally, but our local garage doesn't want to handle sourcing them. It's not an area...

Treating internal ply cladding - clear varnish

I have panelled this garden room with beech-faced ply... ceiling and walls, finally getting near the end (there will be trims and things to hide the joins) I plan to treat it all with preserver (Sika guard) having been caught out by mildew before, but this can be over-treated with stains...

    Good waterproof work welly-boots

Forgot to say I saw one guy wearing these for proper muddy work and seemed pleased with them but they were brand new at the time. And at close to £100 I'd want to hear a pretty good review...

    Good waterproof work welly-boots

I bought some Hyena waterproof boots from screwfix a few years back as I don't like rubber wellies - they were sturdy with a good sole, nice fit and metal toecaps but one developed a leak, and so did the replacement. Shame as I really liked them. I live in the country and we have a stream so I...

Lawnmower tyre keeps deflating even after replacing

So I found the tyre flat again when I came to do a cut after all the rain (and rain, and rain). This time I noticed that as I unscrewed the type cap, I heard a quiet hiss of escaping air. After pumping the tyre up and removing the pump, it was much louder. It stopped when I put the cap back on...

What is a reasonable speed to dig a big pile of gravel?

Thanks. Although I know several pensioners who can not just give me a run for my money, but leave me behind :) Sounds like a reasonable amount to get done anyway.

What is a reasonable speed to dig a big pile of gravel?

We've specced up needing 5T of gravel for a feature (already built) to be dropped loose a dozen or so metres away. I have absolutely no idea how long that should take a reasonably fit but non-tradesman to shift, can anyone with experience tell me how long they reckon they'd take or how many...

I'll have a proper look and get pictures soon, thanks.

    Tanking slurry looks damp

I used FebTank to render the inside of a solid brick dwarf wall recently - base of an old victorian greenhouse. Two coats applied a day apart including 6" onto the concrete floor. At one end the wall is mostly below ground level and when we last had a few days of proper heavy rain, I noticed...

    Painting an uneven concrete floor?

I did wonder if the bigger issue with DLC was that it doesn't work well under heavy load - not an issue for me but I'll look at a better paint anyway. I feel like the paint itself would be waterproof but my worry is it might detach from damp concrete. I could possibly do a sealant first and...

    Painting an uneven concrete floor?

I have a concrete floor in a Victorian brick greenhouse I am renovating to a sort of garden room and was going to paint it with garage floor paint, however on closer inspection it's a bit more uneven than I would like. I thought I'd lay some self-levelling compound first but the garage floor...

Lawnmower tyre keeps deflating even after replacing

If the tube has gone I'd rather remove it, that's easy except I don't know how to redo the valve.

Lawnmower tyre keeps deflating even after replacing

Great thanks. These all seem like things I can do. If there _is_ a tube, slime will still work, right? I think ripping out the tube and replacing the valve is getting a bit beyond what I'm happy with, at least during the summer when I can't afford to have it out of action.

Lawnmower tyre keeps deflating even after replacing

Would slime help if the issue is a bad contact with the rim on a tubeless tyre, or the only option then to have the tyre removed to clean up the rim as @Mottie mentioned? I assume you cannot simply deflate the tyre fully and push it out of the way while you work

Lawnmower tyre keeps deflating even after replacing

Thanks all. My understanding was they're tubeless but I'm not certain - certainly if it is tubed they replaced that too. Sorry if it's a silly question but how can I tell? It might be the 4 wheels are not all the same setup, wouldn't be surprised. I've used 'slime' on my bike once, is that the...

Lawnmower tyre keeps deflating even after replacing

I have an old countax ride on mower (c300 I think). The rear left tyre was constantly deflating so we had it replaced brand new... But now it still leaks... Over a week or goes totally flat which can't be good for it. Is it more likely I got another puncture or that the wheel has an issue and...
