Hi, I am putting in a new flooring in my bathroom. I have nailed down 6mm ply and there are some gaps between a few of the boards. I have read that I should fill these gaps with a feather finish compound before laying my vinyl flooring. Is this correct or will it not make much difference...

Cheers for that. I have gone for 6mm WBP ply as that seems to be the wood of choice. I noticed people said hardboard needs treating with water before laying, is it the same with Ply and is there any thing I should know before cutting it up and nailing it down?

I am just about to lay WBP 6mm thick plywood onto my bathroom floor before sticking lino ontop. However, all web sites refer to cutting it with a circular saw. As I don#t have one, how easy is it to cut manually with a normal saw and is there a specific type of saw I should be using? Also...

Am I being really stupid. Are all tap connections the same diameter and therefore when screwfix flexible hose dimensions are 22mm x 3/4 x 300 x 13mm. The 22mm is referring to the end that connects to the pipe and not the tap?

I am just about to tank my bathroom with BAL WP1. It says once applied, leave for 24hrs to dry. However, is there an upper limit on how long I can leave it before applying tiles as I haven't bought any yet so is going to be a week or two before I get round to tiling.
