Hi there, I need to roll back the carpet in my front room on 3 of the sides of the room to run some cables along the inside of the gripper strips. Im worried that when i go to put it back it will be slack or not fit...do i need to borrow a knee kicker to stretch it onto the grippers again...

Hi thanks for the reply, i meant the whole house is being renovated, the budget is fine..i just meant specifically for a new back door. Im not completely new to renovating houses, just never dealt with a back door like this and unsure what my options are.. Could try salvage yards i guess...

Thanks for the reply, the measurements will be 2 units at approx 31" x 12.5" in size. Any idea what it may cost? I can fit them myself i think and woul just need the supply..is this possible and who would i go to? Dont glazing firms just buy them from a factory somewhere? Thanks again

Yes thanks i know i have found a decking oil which is watr repellant and UV repellant to stop greying but when should i apply it and does it need to be cleaned 1st? Its bad weather at the moment so do i need to wait?

Hi thanks for helping.. it isnt far, kind of straight away really. do you think there is any way an enclosure could be fitted into the downstairs? I have seen curtain rails that run on stainless wire hung on hooks forceilings such as mine so that may cover it im not sure its awkward really...

Hi there, thanks for your suggestions and help i followed your link and read up and this morning i took the old filling thing off and replaced it with a new one, turned water back on, opened up the new valve but still no water is going in to pressure the boiler up not even any noise of water...

Thanks for the quick response iv taken the blue handle off but it is just an extension on another blue knob underneath that is the bit that opens the valve i assume. do i need to get this off somehow? not sure how as it seems to undo all the way like as if you were opening it but then gets stuck...

Hi all after good advice last time thought i would try again, After recently ripping out and redoing most of my hall/stairs/landing i now have only the flooring to solve. My query is this.... We want to have the stairs and the landing carpeted but the hallway is to be done in stone tiles...
