    tall bathroom basin mixer

    Hi all, I have a tap for my bathroom basin (tall mixer) every time i fit with the supplied flexi tails i get a leak around the connection somewhere. Have used plenty ptfe and still no success. I have now went and bought a new set of flexi monobloc tap tails as i burst the supplied ones...

    Is it worth putting my living room sockets on a seperate ring (complete rewire). With larger loads these days i.e tv dvd vcr surround sound p.c hifi etc in living room as well as downstairs bedrooms. Its only an extra hours work ... is it worth doing?

    I understand the regs regarding routing cable through joists underfloor. 50mm min depth for hole. Is there any reason i can't just clip the cable to the underside of the joists?

    Hi all first post so be gentle. Have stripped back all internal lath and plaster off the external walls (back to the brick) after repairing damp problem. How best should i batten, insulate and plasterboard these walls? Whats the best combination? A friend has said batten from the roof...
