Best wood filler (or alternative) for this flat roof surround ?

Hi all - I want to make this wood surround (my flat roof for bathroom) ready for painting. I cant afford to replace the wood and just want to repair as far as possible. Question - what wood filler is 'best' for such a job or are there alternatives that I dont know of? And how would I keep...

Does anyone have any template plans to build my own table loom?

I'm interested in making a few things that would need a loom. I looked at the prices and they are a bit pricey for me. They dont look that hard to build but I cant seem to find any plans or instructions anywhere on-line that are detailed enough to work from. Does anyone have a link to anything...

    Metal sheds any good?

Mottie - the little pig who built the wooden shed must have had a reasonable amount of spare cash though? Although, to be fair , wood could last many many years. That was my original plan until I priced up I'm still in 2 minds on this

    Metal sheds any good?

Cheers John. I'm just researching now how to seal the bottom/make a base or raised legs on a plastic one. At least I'd be able to use 're-cycled' timber on the inside to brace it, so should give some savings.

    Metal sheds any good?

Just did a quick search on here about them after I posted the question and the first 10 or so threads were mainly saying terrible condensation. Then I came across the 'plastic shed' option, which are double the price of metal but less than half the price of buying timber. I'll keep my mind open...

    Metal sheds any good?

Priced up timber to build myself a 3650x3650 shed and it's a crazy price. Had a look at these metal ones and something of a similar size is only in the £hundreds. I want to use it as storage and workshop with mains electric in there. I dont know anyone with a metal shed, but bearing in mind...

Intermittent ignition spark on Bosch gas cooker

But wouldn't that sort itself out after a few days, as the moisture would be burnt off after a few mins? We don't have pans boiling over with any regularity, maybe once a month on one ring at most.

Intermittent ignition spark on Bosch gas cooker

Since I originally posted , I did a lot of searching and reading. I applied superglue to the ceramic part of the sparker, let it set, and ....no improvement. Bizarrely , I find that the first light of the day is hard and needs a hand with a BBQ lighter, then most of the rest of the day, it...

    Making/adapting exhaust system to fit?

UPDATE - I took this in to a local garage and they fixed it. They brazed a sleeve on. Thanks for all the help on this forum. (I also have the whole exhaust system saved on my ebay list, just in case for next time) I dont know anything about brazing. How hot would your flame/metal have to be to...

Condensation in between double glazed windows

Although our windows are pretty old (25 years maybe) they very nice cosmetically but have just started to lose their seal and have moisture in between the two panels. It's unsightly ,and I guess that means they are not as efficient at keeping the cold out and the heat in? I hear they can re-do...

    Making/adapting exhaust system to fit?

Wow, many thanks! I dont know why my searching on there wasn't showing it? Looking at that price, I am planning just to go to local independent exhaust centre and say what Mottie said above first. It could just be cheaper that way. Then I'll have to go for the ebay one. Thanks everyone
