    I have dot and dabbed plasterboard to level the walls in our bathroom to refit it. I have read that if I want to tile I should mechanically fix. But what do I use? I have come across helical nails for insulated plasterboard fixes into brick. Would these do? Or is there anything else? Thanks

    Hi thanks for the info. On the wet wall (shower) I was going to use the shower sheet stuff that is ply with a waterproof plastic coating. It's only 12mm and allows me to keep the 700mm I need. It would be OK if the window wasn't in the way.
