    L2 error on Ideal Boiler

My gas fitter repaired a leak on a radiator pipe. Then the boiler started making very deep bassy noises and starting giving an F2 error. I've asked him about the error and he said he doesn't know what it is maybe the wind. I restarted the boiler a few times and then the F2 error disappeared and...

    Leak on bath tap

I replaced with hose washers 3/4” and there is no leak. Now the thickness of the hose washers is 2mm where the Grohe are 2.7mm. Would I have to add 2 on each feed or might be ok as is. I hand tight both of them and there is no no leak whatsoever. What shall I do?

Hollow doors with wider strip around handles

It is the side of the handles that I have already drilled the latch and painted the door! I can't put a block now but what I am thinking is to make a small 13-14mm hole face on the door near where the handles attach and fill it with wood filler and small wood pieces to avoid using screws and...

    Bath trap connection

I don’t like the ridges on the flexible connectors as they accumulate dirt. I think of using a bent like in the photo, shall I go for a wide bent or a normal one as it is underneath the bath and don’t want to open it for cleaning.
