Ikea Whirlpool Dishwasher DWF B10 - Cycle never finishes!

Our seems to work fine now, we cleaned out the filter and did quite a few 70º washes which seemed to solve the problem. We also ran the diagnostic thing a few times which may have cleared some errors. Almost a year later and she's still working without fault.

Ikea Whirlpool Dishwasher DWF B10 - Cycle never finishes!

Hi All, We have an Ikea Whirlpool DWF B10 Dishwasher. Intermittently the dishwasher fails to get to the end of it's cycle. As an example, we left the house today with it on and 8 hours later that damn thing was still going. Not good when it was set on a 70c wash! This happens more than 50%...

Could you possibly explain why you think that please? Wouldn't that effect pressure to the kitchen downstairs too? Kitchen pressure is as good as ever. Thanks

Unvented cylinder - low pressure just upstairs

Thanks for the reply - are you certain on that or is it a suggestion? Did you see my edit (think u posted as I added it): Not sure if this is normal but after using the hot water I can hear the cold water filling the tank for 30 secs or so. Maybe longer. Thanks for your help.

Hi All, Our back bedroom has half of it's ceiling horizontal and half following the pitch of the roof. We have insulated the horizontal part of the roof with standard loft insulation laid flat. There's no insulation in the slanted part of the ceiling, and in the recent snow you ccould...

Chimney breast - Creating firm base for hearth

Thanks for the help both. With the concrete floor.... 1. Is there any plastic in particular I should use? 2. Is there any partiular type of cement/ratio? 3. How do I finish it off when it's at it's desired height? Will it just be flat or do I need to level it with a bit of wood...

Chimney breast - Creating firm base for hearth

Hi All, Here's a pic of my latest project. I knocked this through and will eventually be putting a log burner in there. Plan is to render and plaster the internal side walls, and around the fake oak lintel) but leave the stone wall exposed at the back and tidy it up. I want to have...

    oversized rads and trv's

Hi All, Just about to have an Daikin HT air source heat pump installed. It will have a bypass valve installed for flow rates, no buffer as its not possible for us. Downstairs in our house is virtually open plan, about 50m2. Kitchen, dining room and lounge all knocked into one. We...

Hi All, We are very close to accepting a quote on a Daikin Altherma HT. We have alot of difference in opinion (in each quote) on water tank size....Daikin 200l or 260l. We have one bathroom on a thermostatic mixer shower, all appliances are cold feed, 2 adults and 2 children (girls)...

Insulating interior stone rubble wall and fireplace

I managed to get a damp proofing guy out today to look at sorting the damp. He quoted £1500 (3-5 days) to take back to the stone up to 1m high, inject DPC, tank, render and plaster. He said there's no need to insulate the wall (although I have other reasons for doing this). This...

Insulating interior stone rubble wall and fireplace

Thanks Guys. Dot and dab would be ok for most of it, but the stone work in the chimney cavity is probably too bumpy and random. How would I fix the rising damp on this stone rubble wall? Inside the cupboard is damp up to a tide line of about 1-2ft. We dont have a damp course. Any...

Insulating interior stone rubble wall and fireplace

Hi All, We live in a 1895 stone cottage in Wales. No damp course. I have recently knocked through a fireplace and plan to rip out some alcove cupboards either side of the chimney breast. The cupboards are quite damp and unsuable inside - a mixture of rising damp and not being aired enough...

    Knocking through bricked up fireplace

Here are my findings! Turned out there's a metal lintel, so no worries with structurally. Borrowed an SDS breaker to channel into the modern render - it was hard work even with that! Exposing the arch was easy when I hit the original render. The plan is to leave the...
