In the course of trying to get rid of some mould marks I managed to strip parts of the window frame of paint, as per the picture. I’d like to repaint the whole frame. What’s a good solution here? Eggshell white with primer underneath?

So I’ve managed to get inside the unit (had to wait for delivery of the right Torx screwdriver). Which two connectors do I need to bridge to test the part (see pic 1). Also I jumped the gun and bought a part online before seeing the part number inside. I bought a K59 and the original says K57...

I already sanded it. I took the finish off completely (or at least I thought I did), with a sander using 80 grit paper (then 220 grit). Then I started with the coats of danish oil.

The lighter area is where the sun comes in from a window to the right. It’s had about seven or eight coats now, and I still can’t get a uniform finish. Is there anything I can do with Danish Oil to achieve that? At the minute, I’m just applying the oil, letting it soak and buffing it.
