Just only occurred to me to look into ceiling types recently due to renovation plans. I understand that this ceiling surface is potentially artex (correct me if I’m wrong, I’m new to this). Since there’s a crack, is this a cause for concern.

Unsure if this under stair ceiling has asbestos in it. When we got the house, there was no mention of potential asbestos in the under stair. Should I proceed in putting a plaster skim?

There’s a big gap between the stair stringer and wall, where I can now see my bricks and outside my house. What should I use to fill this gap in. Also if it helps, some cement that has come off has fallen in between the gap of the stair and walls, so there must be some space there too. Please help!
