    Cables clipped to wall

Is it permitted to clip SWA cable in a garage to the wall horizontally just above the floor level? The only alternative is to add 20m of cable, add a junction box and clip to surface of wall up to roof space and go into roof clip to rafters and through 2 walls and down again to get to CU?

Sorry for the confusion. The RCD is remote from the CU. The CU is a LLutron homeworks panel that only has MCB's protecting each lighting circuit. The RCD is in a metalclad box in the garage 3 meteres from the Lutron panel so there is T+E from CU (lutron) to the RCD (in a hager metalclads...

    Testing Testing

Thanks Spark, just to be clear for the outdoor lighting circuit that goes through the RCD if the RCD trips I should test R1 +R2 for the link from CU to the RCD and a separate test from the RCD to end of circuit. Same for IR? Thanks Dingbat will give them a call.

    3 Phase

Thanks for the replies labels it will be.... However, the manufacturer of the lighting panels has suggested that we connect the 3 phase isolator on the panels to a single phase on the distribution board by combining the 3 phases at the board. Doesnt sound great to me what do you think, I...

I know you need to keep the circuits on 3 phases separate so we have ground floor on one phase, first floor on the other etc. HOWEVER, we also have 5A lamp sockets that run off Lutron dimming panels that are 3 phase (not single) These lamp sockets will obviously be next to rings on a certain...
