Should I just paint the dark areas with BIN?

I have just stripped all the paintwork on the stairs and landing. There are a lot of knots in the wood and also some areas where I left the heat gun on a spot for too long and "burnt" the wood surface. I have applied two coats of Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 primer and sealer (and stain blocker) but...

I am currently burning off and rubbing down old paintwork. The knots were treated, probably in the 60's when the house was built. Do I need to use knotting solution on these previously treated knots? Thanks in advance for any advice

It says paste the wall lol I suppose I'd better get some normal paste, it's annoying cuz it's only a small amount. I just realised I asked this before lol

Yes I know about the soaking lol I'm just not sure if the paste is ok for this paper as it is a woven one. It's an odd roll I have so I don't really want to go out and buy paste if the other stuff will be ok.

If I apply it to the paper, is there any reason I shouldn't use paste the wall paste to hang a couple of lengths of paper. I have some ready mixed already here so thought I'd use that. Thanks in advance for any replies.:):):)

I think the title says it all really. I have a tub of paste the wall adhesive and I love this technique. I was wondering if there's any reason you can't do this with all wallpapers. Thanks in advance for any advice :)

Hi Is it possible to put up shelves in a recess using Sticks Like S*** or No Nails (or any other type of adhesive)? The shelves would only be used for placing pictures and small ornaments on them. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I ended up just using the Karcher on it. It has cleaned a lot of it off and looks much better but not sure if I will go on to use anything else on it or leave it a it is.
