I hope everyone is going to turn out and vote on Thursday 05 May. People have fought and died to ensure we live in a democratic country.

For those who 'don't care' who runs the country, I would ask that you take the short walk/drive to your local polling station and make your mark. Even spoilt votes are counted and provide an interesting statistic to the final figures.

If you are registered, you don't need your polling card to vote. Just your name/address and ID.

Its only a once in a blue moon event......you know it makes sense.

Cheers.

To vote or not to vote (especially in Local Government elections) will not change the democratic nature of our country.

:( patiently waiting for the howls of protest.............

Don't forget to deface your paper for the local PCC if ever there was a non-partisan job that should be it. It's bad enough that local government is partisan, it should not be linked to national politics.
