12V Downlighters Voltage Drop

I'd not thought of that Properleckie, I think I may end up going down this route, appears to make the most sense.

I was refering to this bit, even short lengths of 1mm are vulnerable to the full output of the tran.


I have been to a few commercial jobs where 1.00 flex was used and the light had failed due to burnt and shorted lampholder wires,the pvc had melted and blown the cable apart.
Even though the tran had short circuit protection.

The splitters are hard to find now, as most 300 va trans now have 6 x 5amp auto reset outputs, the only ones I know now are 4 output ones, they need to be accesible as they are fused and sometimes lamp failure blows them.
