12v external PIRs?

T

toasty

Chaps,
I'm after some external PIR sensors to trigger outside lights and the like.

I don't want to use 240v ones as my control system is 12v already .

What I want really is an external version of a standard burglar alarm pir.

They are for my house, so ideally they should be pretty unobtrusive.

I'm not too worried about price, I'd rather pay for quality.

Has anyone used any thing like this? I'm looking for recommendations from the pros really - rather than just blindly googling.
Cheers

The one GaryMo linked to is of no use to you  (sorry GarryMo)

like most GJD pirs, it has a transitorised output, most things require clean contacts*, GJD do make an external pir with clean contacts.

*Unless that is your controller is a GJD one

I have these ones at home for my CCTV system.

They are very versatile, and you will be absoloutly stunned at their range.

Hi

If you need volt free output from the GJD ones, you can add a reed relay for a couple of quid.
