hi,
would like to know if i could use 1.5mm twin and earth in my garden for lighting it. i would buy the 12v garden lights and a transformer but use twin and earth to wire it up. I would put the cable in mdpe pipe to keep the cable good. It would have splash proof boxes and cable glands. would this work?

Yes it will work.

If the wire run is very long from the transformer to the bulbs, you might get a small voltage drop (you only have 12), but other than that, it will be fine.

Ensure the fuse is wired beside and on the output of the transformer
