They will if they know what they are talking about.Go into a PCB repair shop who repair logic level stuff, and ask them what they class as low voltage. I bet they will not say equal and above 50V AC/120V DC.
I just put non rechargeable which looked like rechargeable in a charger for a couple of hours, and then back in my mouse, about 4 hours latter there was a bang and the mouse was in pieces as a result.Small pop, puff of smoke, top came off battery, breaker tripped.
