hi, i want to put 2 lights outside my front door and be able to switch them on when needed . i have a switch by the front door which works the hall light . can i change the hall switch into a 2 gang and run the lights off that? how should i wire the 2 lights into it ?

Probably cant do this, have a look in the switch for a bunch of blacks or blues bunched up in a terminal block. If there isn't anything of that description, you dont have a neutral at the switch and need to take a feed from elsewhere. (Anything connected to the switch, regardless of its colour, IS NOT neutral)dirtygurty said:
