Good pointDo you require a neutral at BOTH switches?

Good pointDo you require a neutral at BOTH switches?

It's not a neutral.(live and neutral being using as a switch live ,

Thats a very good point as amatuer i would say the red is the live and the black neutral wire is being used as switched live but yeah as you point out its not its a black switch wire and thats it

ok yeah i mean i dont really know if i need N at the switch im just going with doing it to have it there rather then not for any future things that might need itThen a 3 core to the next switch but as sparkwright said that will only give you a neutral at the one switch

You'd have to run a 3 core and a single sheathed brown core to the next switch, I wouldnt bother myself as I just switch all my lights on in the old fashioned way, but it's up to you I supposeok yeah i mean i dont really know if i need N at the switch im just going with doing it to have it there rather then not for any future things that might need it

Or - a four-core cable or two twin and earth cables or ...You'd have to run a 3 core and a single sheathed brown core to the next switch, I wouldnt bother myself as I just switch all my lights on in the old fashioned way, but it's up to you I suppose
