2 zones on Texecom Elite remote keypad and speaker

Hi,

Are the 2 zones on the premier elite remote key pad additional zones or do they take up 2 of the eight on the panel?

Also what is the speaker connection for, what gets emitted to the speaker?

Extra ..they have to be mapped .sounds !

Thanks. So I have my rkp next to the front and garage door, I could just run a cable to each from the rkp instead of the panel and save 2 zones on the panel for something else?

Ha sounds . Are we talking button press beeps, alarm ringing or all of the above?

I believe it mimics the keypad small speaker , each keypad speaker tones can be turned on / off ( only available on large display keypads )
